Notes: Must finish online classwork prior to in person course. Please remember to bring swim wear, comfortable apparel, towel, goggles, and food.
The Claremont Savings Bank Community Center will be offering a Lifeguard Certification Course open to participants ages 15 and older. The course will take place on Friday, October 17 through Sunday, October 19 at the CSBCC Pool and Room G.
Schedule
Friday, October 17: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cost
The course fee is $200.
Certifications
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certifications in:
Lifeguarding (valid for one year)
First Aid and CPR
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
Additional Information
All participants must complete an online prerequisite portion of the course prior to attending the in-person sessions. Full participation and successful completion of all requirements are necessary to earn certification. Upon completion, there may be potential employment opportunities available at the CSBCC.
This course provides an opportunity to develop essential life-saving skills, earn nationally recognized certifications, and prepare for employment in lifeguarding.
