Time: Various Times

Each Spring, Claremont-Sugar River Rotary organizes a community-wide clean-up effort in honor of Earth Day which falls on April 22. They partner with numerous organizations, including DPW, Parks and Rec, the Conservation Commission and our local Girl Scout troop to make as broad an impact as possible. However, they could always use more partners.
If you would like to see Claremont free of litter, please consider joining in this effort from April 18-26. (NEW - Extended to May 3rd 2026) You can either join a group on the scheduled date or choose your own area. If you are selecting your own area, please sign up at the Front Desk of the Community Center. This will help us keep track of what has been cleaned and coordinate bag retrieval. Gloves and bags will be available at the Front Desk.
If you have any questions, please contact Claremont Sugar River Rotary Club via email at sugarriverrotary@gmail.com or via our Facebook page.
Last year we picked up over 57 large bags of trash. This does not include trash that individuals picked up on their own without registering. With your help, we can surpass our efforts last year and, together, beautify our community.
