Claremont Youth Basketball
Claremont Parks & Recreation offers a range of youth basketball programs designed to introduce children to the game, build fundamental skills, and foster a love for basketball. Our programs provide a supportive environment where young players can learn and grow while having fun on the court.
Smart Start Basketball (Ages 3-5): A parent-child program that focuses on basic motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and an introduction to basketball through fun activities and games.
Kindergarten Basketball: A fun and engaging program where kindergarteners learn the basics of dribbling, passing, and shooting through age-appropriate drills and activities.
1st & 2nd Grade Instructional League: This program introduces players to game fundamentals while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building through practices and scrimmages.
Youth Basketball: Organized divisions for boys and girls in grades 3-6, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each season includes practices, evaluations, and games to ensure a well-rounded experience.
Our programs are led by experienced coaches and volunteers who are passionate about helping players reach their full potential. Whether you’re just learning the basics or perfecting your jump shot, we have a program for you!
