Claremont Parks & Recreation offers a range of youth basketball programs designed to introduce children to the game, build fundamental skills, and foster a love for basketball. Our programs provide a supportive environment where young players can learn and grow while having fun on the court.

Programs We Offer:

• Smart Start Basketball (Ages 3-5): A parent-child program that focuses on basic motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and an introduction to basketball through fun activities and games.

• Kindergarten Basketball: A fun and engaging program where kindergarteners learn the basics of dribbling, passing, and shooting through age-appropriate drills and activities.

• 1st & 2nd Grade Instructional League: This program introduces players to game fundamentals while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building through practices and scrimmages.

• Youth Basketball: Organized divisions for boys and girls in grades 3-6, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each season includes practices, evaluations, and games to ensure a well-rounded experience.
