Welcome to Claremont Parks & Recreation’s newest community program—our Outdoor Pickleball League at Veterans Park.
This exciting addition marks the launch of Claremont’s first semi-organized outdoor pickleball league, designed to bring players of all skill levels together in a fun, relaxed, and social environment. Whether you are looking to stay active, meet new people, or enjoy some friendly competition, this league offers a flexible and welcoming experience for everyone.
The league will run on Wednesday evenings from May 6 through June 24, with play beginning at 5:45 PM and continuing through sunset. All sessions will be held at the newly updated courts at Veterans Park. The format will be a round robin style, allowing participants to rotate and play with a variety of partners throughout the evening—no partner required.
This is a drop-in style program, meaning participants are welcome to attend as many sessions as their schedule allows, whether that’s once or throughout the full eight-week season. While the league is open to all levels, participants should have a basic understanding of how to play the game.
To help new players get started, free introductory lessons will be offered each Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM prior to league play.
Best of all, this program is completely free, reinforcing our commitment to providing accessible, high-quality recreational opportunities for the Claremont community.
We look forward to seeing you on the courts this spring.
