Moody Park is a 255-acre natural treasure gifted to the City of Claremont in 1916 by William H.H. Moody. This expansive, forested park offers visitors a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities and is known for its scenic beauty, diverse trail system, and peaceful atmosphere. Whether you're enjoying a picnic with family, hiking through wooded trails, or challenging yourself on a mountain bike, Moody Park provides something for everyone.
Visitors can download a Moody Park Trail Map to explore the extensive trail network designed for all levels of walkers, trail runners, bikers, and winter recreation enthusiasts.

Moody Park also serves as a popular venue for group gatherings, cookouts, and special events. A no-cost Special Event Permit is required for organized activities such as birthday parties or reunions. To obtain a permit, visit the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center, call (603) 542-7019, or download the application from the Policies, Permits & Applications section on claremontparks.com.
Important Note:
All events held at the top of the park must make arrangements for their own portable toilet, as none are provided by the Parks & Recreation Department in that area.
